Hi to all
Do you know where I could find some modern treatement of the genus Acanthophiobolus? Could A. helicosporus to colonize other than Cyperaceae? I have found a species growing on Juniperus leaves.
Many thanks again

Re : Acanthophiobolus
Hi Enrique,
Yes, according to Eriksson's Swedish checklist this species occurs also on Juniperus needles, see http://www8.umu.se/myconet/asco/asco_pdfs/A.PDF.

The index page is at http://www8.umu.se/myconet/asco/asco_pdfs/indexPDF.html. I have combined them all into one PDF-file for quick reference.
This checklist is very useful, in particular for its many references and substrates.
All the best, Eduard

Re : Acanthophiobolus
Many thanks, Per. My collection was on leaves, not on bark.

Re : Acanthophiobolus
Thank you, Peter
It seems to be a plurivorous fungus...
