Hi, Orbilia again

growing abundantly on a still attached branches of dead Pinus sylevestris.

Spores- fusiform 15,2-12 x 3,9-2 µm
Asci- inamyloid, croziers present
Paraphyses- straight, not enlarged at the top, with fine crystalization around the top

Also found few conidias-last picture
Other types of spores were abundant in the preparation- filiform, oval, U-shaped-not sure about their origin.

Yes, these are conidia, and I think it is O. vinosa. But the broad living spores are very extraordinary, maybe abnormal? The narrow acicular without spore body (dead state) would be good.

Yes, i observed more narrow spores -2µm, didnt get decent picture. Also checked your folder, they seem to fit well enough. I ll label this collection as Orbilia vinosa.

No problem. I assume you are from Poland? We have quite a few samples from Piotr Perz, but all are from Klodsko county, so the remaining Poland is empty on our distribution map of O. vinosa. If you want me to include your sample in that map, I would need the coordinates, date and finder.
