I collected this fungus on wood of Larix or Fagus sylvatica, in Navarra (Spain).
Not even know the genre.
Could it be the anamorph of any Daldinia?

only a suggestion: to me it looks like the anamorph of the basidiomycete Tyromyces (Oligoporus) ptychogaster.
