Cyphelloidae or Asco ?
Pavol Palo, 23-03-2014 10:21

Hi everybody,

It was found on the Corylus sp.

Fruitbody: diam. 0,1-0,5 mm ...  it looks green from long distance

Spores: (4)5-6(7) x 1(1,5)

Ascii or basidia:  I am not sure :-( ?

Hairs : diam. 2-4 µm ... incrusted

Regards

Pavol

p.s. I would need some idea or opinion :-) ... thank you in advance

Re : Cyphelloidae or Asco ?
This remind me of a Hyphodiscus, particularly a cf. Hyphodiscus, that is difficult to give a name. Trichopeziza viridula and Peziza sericea are the names in question.

But why you do not see asci? Your photo wuality is too low to see the spore contents or whether they might be conidia.

Too indistinct. Maybe the material is overmature? Do you have KOH? Perhaps this makes the elements more transparent.

I am afraid  the material is overmature :-(. 3 foto in 10% KOH.

p.s.  = cf. Hyphodiscus ?
