Trouble on Picea
Marja Pennanen, 14-03-2011 19:32
Hello,

once again I have difficulties to find a genera for my finding.
I just test camera settings and seem to have a wrong color setting, so the photos are brown.
The photo size is too small, too. So the details are poor.
These are 0,1-0,3 mm wide and have a slight tint of pink

The microscophy was once again unknown to me.
The spores are fusiform and can have 4 septas, 14-22x3-4

Re:Trouble on Picea
The asci are IKI blue, 60-80x8-10 and paraphyses septate and narrow (2 wide).
The asci are shootes and collapse when empty.
I'm not even sure of weather these got hairs, shall study more, when have some time.

Maybe this is common and someone can help me with this problem.

Hi Marja,
congratulations you found the Sepia adjustment on the camera ;-)(somewhere in color mode)
For the species it looks to me like Pseudohelotium sordidulum, i think is awinterspecies on naked wood, from Pinus i know.
Cheers
Stip

Thanks Stip :)

I really found sepia color setting, but wasn't in my own mind choosing it....
I'm trying to learn setting white-balance and first though, that it was the reason for the colors.
Seeing these on screen got me thinking of something else wrong, too.
That shows exactly how much a photographer I'm ;)
