I am very short on sordariomycete literature and struggle with this one. Asci are very small - ca. 35 microns long, contain 8 small, broadly ellipsoid, bi-guttulate spores ca. 2x3 microns large. Any suggestions?

Re : Very small asci and spores
Hi Edvin,
it might be a Camarops. If so, perithecia are immersed, you should make a vertical section including the underlying wood to see them.
Cheers,
Jacques
