Dear members of AscofranceIn several publications, I find the name of the species Boudiera echinulata (Seaver) Seaver.
The original name Sphaerosoma echinulatum Seaver is now mentioned in indexfungorum. Does anyone know the reason?
Indexfungorum: 3/12/2018
Current Name:
Sphaerosoma echinulatum Seaver, J. Mycol. 11(1): 2 (1905)
Synonymy:
Boudiera echinulata (Seaver) Seaver, North American Cup-fungi, (Operculates) (New York): 52 (1928)
Thanks in advance for your reply.
