Dear Forum!

Which Peziza is this?

2020.03.07., on burnt ground, Hungary.

The paraphyses tips curved, and has a collar-like incrustation,

made of yellowish-brown crystals, which soluble in 3% KOH.

Spores 14-16 x 7-8 micrometers, eguttulate or slightly biguttulate in LCB.

Attila,
The ascus tip reaction clearly points to a Peziza s. str., so maybe immature specimens of P. echinospora or P. varia. In the same time, the spore shape with tapered ends and this encrusted brown pigment on paraphyses are unusual for these two species. No clear idea.

Thank You for the help, I will come back to the finding spot, and try to

pick mature ones as well.
