Hei,
These apothecia are apparently growing on dead liverwort Blasia pusilla, collected on unstable calcareous soil at 1050 m alt. in Norway (subalpine region). Spores measure 11-15 x 4-5 um (water). Paraphyses with many guttules. Weak iodine reaction in ascus pore with Lugol. Any suggestion anyone? Thanks.

Hi, Edvin -
reminds me of Bryoscyphus atromarginatus Verkley, van der Aa & G. de Cock 1997. The holotype grew on Marchantia polymorpha, however.

I think you are absolutely right. I shall have to check the moss once more, though. This species is not known from Norway, previously, so thanks again!

Re : Inoperculate on Blasia pusilla (?)
That's great! We had the species some years ago on water-soaked Marchantia polymorpha on a riverbank near Wasserburg am Inn (Bavaria) - that's why I recognized it.
