Would anyone help me with this disco collected on an Eucalyptus leaf in Brittany (which is not quite a natural site for Eucalyptus)
Apos up to 0.7 mm, hymenium whitish, flanks covered with an red brown envelop
Ascus 65-80 x 5-6; No croziers, IKI -
Spores eguttulate, slightly clavate to sub fusoîd, 10-12,5 x 2,5-3,2
EE Text. prismatica, red orange
ME hyalin, globulosa angularis.
Merci et amitiés
Michel

Re:Disco on Eucalyptus leaf
Hi Michel
you think this is speciifc to Euca? :-) Look at HB 7036, on Acer pseudoplatanus leaf, think it is the very same. But look for the croziers, Lothar's collection has distinct ones.
Strange fungus, and very difficult to place in a genus. I have it in Durella, but only very provisionally.

Re:Disco on Eucalyptus leaf
Hi Zotto !
Thanks ever so much for your answer . It looks very similar indeed.
There was only one leaf with apos on it.
I had also no idea for the genus though I could find some macro likelihood with Strossmayeria.
As for the croziers, I did look for them, unsuccesfully .
I include an image of paraphyses , branched quite low downwards.

Re:Disco on Eucalyptus leaf
Even these drops between the paraphyses are there. perhaps you see croziers in KOH + Kongo.
I was reminded of Pocillum which is a relative of Vibrissea, but only by macroscopy.
