Unknown Elaphomyces
Henri Koskinen, 24-03-2025 16:20
I found this very small Elaphomyces on a wet almost muddy spot next to spruce and alder in southern Finland.  Diameter is 7 mm.  Spores are small for Elaphomyces (14 - 17 microns) and peridium (in section) looks uniform and whitish.  I am considering Elaphomyces papillatus s.l. but very uncertain as this the first Elaphomyces I have scoped.  Would you have an opinion?
