Disco on Vaccinium
Karl Soler Kinnerbäck, 24-03-2025 14:58
Hi,
Dark, erumpent disco on Vaccinium myrtillus, central Sweden 2024-05.

Asci IKI-, spores 10-17 x 5.

Thought it would be quick work with the large spores but have not found anything.

Best regards
Karl

Re : Disco on Vaccinium
I have two species in my database with such a spore size and host: Pseudophacidium ledi and Eupropolella vaccinii. The latter is on leaves, and from the apothecial morphology with the strongly raised margin composed of fungal tissue I would much favour a Pseudophacidium.

Thank you Zotto! Pseudophacidium looks great
