Black on Carpinus
Margot en Geert Vullings, 19-02-2025 18:59
On a dead twig of Carpinus we saw these black spots.
Under the bark were black perithecia with transparent/white content.

The spores measured in water: (19.2) 20.1 - 22.2 (24.3) × (7.1) 7.3 - 8.5 (9) µm ; Qe = 2.7

The spores have 1 sept and length stripes.

Can someone help us with the determination?

Thanks in advance, Margot&Geert
