How large ate the apos? My guess is the yellow Ionomidotis (Cenangium collemoides) When adding KOH you should get an intensiv ochre-yellow solution in the medium.

You must put an apo in a drop of KOH on a slide, the pigmnt must extrude into the medium.
You probably mean 2.3-7.9 mm!
