Hello.A tiny fungus shaped like globose black grai
On April 25 2024, I found one fruiting body under a layer of wet leaves. The long, thin stem lay on mummified leaves of deciduous trees (no attachment nor scleritium found).
Apotheciium: light brown, slightly saucer-shaped then flat (diameter 4 mm), stem 45 mm long and very thin.
Excipulum with textura globulosa and subhymenium light brown coloured;
Asci: cylindrical, 130-150 µm long, 9-11 µm wide, IKI+(blue) with croziers;
Paraphyses of same length sometimes branched;
Spores hyaline, elliptic to ovoid, binucleate with following dimensions
(10.2) 10.7 - 12.3 (13.2) × (4.9) 5.3 - 6.5 (6.9) µm;
Q = (1.6) 1.7 - 2.2 (2.4) ; Me = 11.5 × 5.9 µm ; Qe = 2
Personally, I think of Ciborinia pseudobifrons but the problem is that while collecting from the leaf litter, the correct substrate could not be detected. In the vicinity were Alnus and Salix and probably other deciduous trees.
What do you think?
Best regards,
François
Does no one have a suggestion?

It seems that ther is no hair on your collection on stipe ? This excludes Ciborinia bresadolae , a not rare species in litter at that time of the year, for example.
Amitiés Michel
Merci beaucoup pour votre réponse et la suggestion de voir la Home Page de Zotto.
Maintenant, je suis sûr de ma détermination!
Cordialement,
François
