Discomycete found on the cut face of a Quercus trunk, of an orange-yellow color.
The apothecium is particularly hard to prepare.
Reddening on damaged or deteriorated apothecia.
I think it could be a Calycina.
Any help would be welcome

Re : Discomycete
Bonjour Joaquim,
Beautiful plate !
Did you consider Bisporella subpallida ?
I confirm the difficulty to study the micro characters because of the gelatinousus excipulum
and also that it is on very hard parts of dead wood. and so not easy to collect
Amitiés
Michel

Re : Discomycete
Yes, and the amyloid basal excipulum is also typical. You could try to view living paraphyses which must be multiguttulate.

Re : Discomycete
Yes, though these are dead and I would not be sure how the VBs looked alive. "Bisporella" citrina has very different VBs, very elongate, but maybe in dead state it gets broken into similar pieces.
You could try to view paraphyses in a section, because there the cells best remain alive, of course in pure water and without pressure.

Re : Discomycete
Yes, looks better, but the magnification is too low, I can only vaguely see it.
