Tiny on Typha
Marja Pennanen, 29-09-2022 13:34
Dear colleagues,

a couple of days ago I found these tiny apos (0,1-0,3 mm) on Typha latifolia.

The spores are multiguttulate, 16-18x3,5-4 and seems to develop septas at least when dead.

The asci are 45-65x9-12, IKI+blue and the paraphyses branch, are up to 4 on top and look a bit like a cluster of balloons.

No idea even of the genus, but hopefully someone here has.

Greetings from Marja

Hi Marja

this is a Micropeziza, probably M. cornea

Thank you Zotto once again!

I had a little doubt, that this looks a bit like Micropeziza, but was too "busy" to check.

All the best for you: Marja
