Legaliana limnaea?
Juuso Äikäs, 19-08-2022 22:26
A few years ago I found a group of olive-brown fruitbodies in a Picea dominated forest, growing in a paludified groove. I tried to ID them and thought they might be Legaliana limnaea (= Peziza limnaea), but my data was rather poor.

Now I returned to the place and found some fresh fruitbodies. Do you think this passes as L. limnaea, or is there another possibility?

The spores measure 17.8 - 19.6 × 10.2 - 10.8 µm.

---

I forgot to mention that the apos are fairly large, up to ca. 5 cm wide (the size for L. limnaea on ascomycete.org is 5–15 mm). There was also a good amount of white mycelium on the underside of the apos.
