Hello,
Found by Laurens van der Linde, November 2021 on fallen leaves of Crataegus sp.
Is Dasyscyphys aeruginelles (syn. Chlorociboria aeruginella) correct?
- small fruitbodies very short stemmed
- asci IKI+ b
- asci with croziers
- hairs with incrusted material
- spore sizes: Me 11.2 x 2.7 µm N = 12

Thank you very much Enrique! Good to know!
(Index Fungorum gives Dasyscyphus aeruginellus as current name).

Re : Chlorociboria aeruginella
What a coincidence! I was dealing with Chlorociboria today, especially with a blue hairy fungus that I thought to be related to Hyphodiscus but it turned out to be very close to C. aeruginella based on its ITS rDNA.
So yes, it is this species. About the genus, Dasyscyphus is out, of course. Chlorociboria is correct when taking a wide generic concept. Morphologically I I think it is not a typical member. The ectal excipulum of horizontal t. prismatica is quite different from C. aeruginosa/aeruginascens which have a vertical t. glob-angularis or t. intricata.

Thank you very much Zotto!
I think I also found the anamorph on the same leaf this afternoon.
I will start a new topic tonight
