Black Anamorph with Fraxinus?
Mirek Gryc, 10-10-2021 10:57
Hello
Conidiophores chains and nothing else.
Like Cladoriella?
Do you have any ideas?

Re : Black Anamorph with Fraxinus?
Hi Mirek,

in which Medium did you observe the conidia. It looks like that is not water and the conidia are dead ?
Your fungus is in my opinion Xylohypha nigrescens.

best regards
Thorben

Re : Black Anamorph with Fraxinus?
Hi Thorben

I observe in H2O.

I made a mistake when making a preparation. I downloaded too much material and probably too tightly pressed the glass to get a single conidia layer.

Thank you very much

Mirek

I made a few more photos without pressing glass.
Look similar?
H2O!

Re : Black Anamorph with Fraxinus?
Hi Mirek,

yes it looks similar and i have no doubt this is Xylohypha nigrescens.
Nice find that I have not yet been allowed to find.

best regards,
Thorben
