Mollisia revincta?
Juuso Äikäs, 24-07-2021 19:08
Yesterday I found some gray Mollisias growing on a dead stem of Filipendula ulmaria.

Asci with croziers, IKI+(bb), pp with VBs, KOH negative. The spores measure 8.7 - 11.6 × 2 - 2.2 µm, OCI 0.

I read that Mollisia revincta grows especially on Filipendula, and the macroscopic and microscopic details seem to be similar to my finding.

Anyone familiar with this one?

I remember M. revincta with a yellow KOH-reaction.

Re : Mollisia revincta?
In Gminder's key there is M. revincta with an indistinct KOH+ and a M. ?revincta with negative KOH (on Filipendula). Also one of the few M. revincta collections in asco-sonneberg.de has KOH-.
