Hi to everybody. Can you give me any suggestions ab
Here is a harvest realized on Ulmus branch:
- Black, diffuse, erumpent and spherical perithecia, some with a well developed neck
- Asci 80-90 x 10 octospores biserial, no reaction to Melzer observed
- Filiform paraphyses with rounded apex, refractive content
- Spindle-shaped hyaline spores, 18-20 x 5.5-6, 1-3 septa, 1-2 guttules per locule
- Anamorph not observed
I came to the hypothesis that it could be a Zignoella and therefore perhaps Menispora caesia Preuss 1851? ... but I lack documentation on the subject.
Thank you in advance for your opinions or suggestions,
Sincerely,
Gérard
I think this might be Massarina rubi (which probably belongs in the genus Brunneofusispora but the combination hasn't yet been published). The 3-septate spores are in my opinion overmature.

Best regards,

Cette récolte a finalement été déterminée comme Lophiostoma vicinellum avec l'aide de Björn Wergen que je remercie beaucoup.
Bien cordialement,
Gérard
