Ascomes jaunâtres de diamètre 1mm max.

Textura globulosa.

Merci d'avance.

a Mollisia, perhaps (without comparing accurately) M. olivaceocinerea.
Best, Lothar

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
A section would be necessary, is the excipulum hyaline also near the base?

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
Thank's a lot Lottar and Zotto.

Here are more information :

Textura sous-hyménium : textura angularis with hyalin cells. Thickness 60-70 µm.

Textura excipullum ectal : textura globulosa with brown cells (on all the excipullum). Thickness 30 to 50 µm in the middle.

Margin made with hyaline cells.

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
O.k., the spores look to me like a Mollisia, not Pyrenopeziza. Then the paraphyses should contain refractive VBs (in water).

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
No, I don't see refractive VBs in paraphyses. May be dead ?

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
Ha, if you have that possibility!

If you have your disco fresh, I would be surprized if all paraphyses were dead. You chekced it in water?

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
Hello. I have checked again but all paraphysis are empty.

Re : Asco sur Carpinus ou Fagus
So let's wait for the sequence. It would be good to show a photo, because only then I can estimate this observation (whether they really were alive).
