No living sprangiophores or sporangia found only discharged sporangia.

Diameter of this sporangia = 213 um.
Spores: oval, 6.65-7.84x3.64-4.22 um.

Re : Pilobolus roridus?
Hello Mel,

Reading the description again I do have my doubts for in the case of spore sizes it fits P. crystallinus as well.
The only difference one can see about these species is the shape of the trophocysts and that I could not compair.
Besides that I do not know which of the two species has spores filled with The Bary bubbles.

Each of the papers on this group seem to have differing sizes quoted for each species. Almost all have your find being a much closer fit for P roridus.
