Thaxteriella? on decorticated wood
Yaroslav Mieshkov, 01-09-2020 16:24
Dear community,
I have a specimen of Pleosporales representative soc. dematioid Hyphomycete (possible its anamorph). It was collected in 2013 on the rotten wood of the foliage tree in Ukraine. In my mind, the sexual stage is similar to Thaxteriella. Ascomata are superficial, globose (cupulate when mature), blackish, ?glabrous, seated on the basal subiculum. Asci 8-sporous, up to 120 x 19 µm. Pseudoparaphyses abundant, filiform. Ascospores 7-8 septate, up to 32,1 x 5,2 µm. The accompanied anamorph looks like Dictyosporium, but I'm not sure. Conidia are multiseptate, with 2-4 or multiple columns of cells, 17,4-32,8 x 13,1-28,3 µm.

I would be glad for any advice. Many thanks in advance.
