Scutellinia crinita?
Juuso Äikäs, 18-06-2020 15:48
There were plenty of Scutellinia apos growing on a fallen, decorticated hardwood trunk. The biggest ones were maybe half a centimeter or so.

Outer hairs are up to 1090 microns long, asci measure about 220-280 x 18-21. The spores have some shallow ornamentation that was visible in CB.

Spore measurements:
(17.2) 18.3 - 19.7 (19.9) × (12.4) 12.5 - 13 (13.8) µm
Q = (1.4) 1.43 - 1.5 ; N = 15
Me = 18.9 × 12.8 µm ; Qe = 1.5

So what do you think -- could this fit S. crinita?

Re : Scutellinia crinita?
Thanks a lot for the link! This will be useful for the future. I arrived at S. crinita and the figures look right too.
