Hello, would this qualify for Patellaria crassispora, or is it just another P. atrata? The exudate looked more blueish than I'm used to see.
Growing on lower side of a lying partly decorticated Fraxinus branch, rather wet wood, quite the opposite as where I usually find P. atrata. Asci H+.
Thank you in advance.

Re : Patellaria crassispora?
Hi Viktorie
P. crassispora grows just like atrata, sometimes intermingled, so one must be careful. This is clearly crassispora, the partly multiguttulate content I never saw in P. atrata. You can take a sequence if you want to confirm :-)
If you send me collection data I will add them.
Zotto

Re : Patellaria crassispora?
Dear Zotto,
thank you very much for confirmation. Usually I find Patellaria on entirely dry wood or still attached dead branches etc. so this surprised me a bit.
