Re : Simple Hyphomycetes on dead stalk of an herbaceous plant
I am posting another image maybe it helps I can't find anything matching on my books despite being a simple organism: simple bulging foot cell, one straight conidiophore (1-2 septate, maybe more? ) punctate towards the apex ending with a swolled head, surmounted by four (maybe more) curved clavate-ovoid phialides, each producing one elongated conidia with 2 oil bodies, c 13-15um long
Its is like a simple single-branch of Stachybotrys
Example image
Does Stachybotrys cylindrospora make sense ?
