On incubated deer dung from Northern California; pseudothecia 0.1mm with hairy neck, spores 4-celled, barely constricted, ~26µm x 4µm, asci ~70µm, biseriate, germ slit straight and parallel to side of cell. Fits neither with S. chaetomioides or S. dakotensis.
