Reddening asco
Bregtje Miedema, 05-02-2020 11:18
Goodmorning,

From the Leeuwarder bos (Leeuwarden, Netherlands) a small asco, very reddening, no stipe. Asci IKI+, Croziers+, biserate, 70-95 x 6-7 µm. Parafyses septate. Spores with at least two drops and mostly 1 sept. 11-13 x 2-3 µm.

Can someone tell me what species this is (maybe Calycina?) ?

Thank you and kind regards,

Bregtje Miedema

Re : Reddening asco
It might be that the sample is overmature and therefore the spores septate. Are there living paraphyses with contents? Excipulum and shape/colour of apical ring is also important. Of course without microphotos almost impossible to say.

Re : Reddening asco
Thank you, mr Baral. In the next topic there are microphoto's.

I did something wrong so it's two topics now. Sorry.
