Bonjour,

Elisabeth

Re : Tympanidaceae
Super! I had this species 2 times. I think it`s the same genus as Zottos "Skyttea/Durella" uncinata. Sequence places it unresolved within Helotiales. Despite the strong ionomidotic reaction and rounded inamyloid ascus apex its unrelated to Cordieritidaceae. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1yJpGqMX0kDA6zHe3BJIUxGp2KwcVcrTA

Re : Tympanidaceae

Great, thanks a lot!

Ionomidotic reaction KOH 5% , for the bark, I think it's Alnus.

Re : Tympanidaceae
Hi Elisabeth & Adam

to ensure Alnus requires a radial section I miss longer radial rows of pores and false radial rays. Could be Salix?

I do not know the specie sbut agree with Adam.

Re : Tympanidaceae
Thanks aswell Elisabeth.

Please keep the specimen, it would be nice to have a record outside of Slovakia.

Atleast S.uncinata is quite plurivorous. In Slovakia it`s occuring through lowland dry Pinus-Quercus to montane Sorbus/Alnus forrests.

Hello Zotto

Unfortunately, I can't make a better cut, the wood is rotten.
