Good evening,
Observed on the surface of Pteridium aquila petioles: Short, erect, unbranched conidiophores with terminal conidium. Conidia cylindrical, with rounded apical and attenuated basal end, 63-74x9-10 µm, 8-septate, smooth, pale greyish brown.
Could this be Dactylella rhopalota?
Thanks for your help.
Bernard

Re : Dactylella?
Hi Bernard
I don't know what this is but it is not a Dactylella which has consistently hyaline conidia like all Orbiliomycetes.
