Flesh rubbery, thick, outer and inner apothecium finely roughened, pigmented. Spores round, pigmented brown, with warts, ~16.6 um. Found in Pennsylvania, USA from the forest floor in mixed Quercus, Acer, Betula, Pinus, Tsuga forest.
