White and hairy in a ditch
Juuso Äikäs, 03-08-2019 22:10
Today I stumbled on these on the bottom of a dried ditch. They were growing on soil, the largest one was 6mm wide. The spores are fairly large and verrucose, 22-27 x 10.5-11.5 microns in size. No color changes in Melzer's. Once again I have no idea what the species or genus might be.

Re : White and hairy in a ditch
That seems to be quite a nice fit! My measurements are a bit small but still. I was just wondering what the hell those maggot-like things are...  so mycorrhiza roots. Thanks! Merci beaucoup!

Hei Juuso,

tämän suomenkielinen nimi on piimämaljakas. Se ei ole ihan tavallisimpia maljakkaitamme, mutta joinain vuosina sitä näkee useammassakin paikassa ja toisina sitten taas ei.
