These 0.5 mm diam. acervuli were breaking through
je visite récente le forêt tropicale de France- Guyane. Je trouve quelque chose intéressante. Cette Champignon de présenter est curieux, trouve sur bois. Sur place je pense claire a une Aphyllophorales; mais c'est un Ascomycète! Une point une peu unique: l'Aphotecium est disposer en bas, pas comme les meilleurs Ascomycètes vers le haut.
Il a de personne gui connais cette espèce?

this is a Cordieritidaceae. Cordierites or something similar. If you apply KOH you should get a yellow or brown dissolution of the excipular pigment.
It is surely worth to make a section of the excipulu at flanks. is the exterior made up of pyramidal tufts making a rough surface?

That is very interesting collection and I would like to have possibility to study it. If you like to share e.g. one fruitbody, this found will be included to our lab Cordieritidaceae molecular analyses. Tropical species are purely represented there yet, and Cordierites-like taxa especially. We would be very thankful, if you can send a piece of collection to:
