Pas tout à fait une demande d'identification aujourd'hui. Je tenais à faire part à toute personne intéressée d'une nouvelle récolte de Lachnellula arida en bordure du parc du Mercantour, cette fois-ci dans le secteur du village de Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage, sur la piste menant au refuge de Sestrière.

Apothécies 4-6 mm de diamètre, courtement stipitées, d'un beau jaune uniforme. Excipulum couvert de poils bruns, à extrémité légèrement effilée et hyaline sous le microscope (à parois parfois épaissie, et couverts de verrues). Ascospores (7.9) 9.0 +/- 0.7 (10.4) x (4.5) 5.0 +/- 0.3 (5.7) µm Q = (1.5) 1.8 +/- 0.2 (2.2), hyalines, ellipsoïdes ou en amande. Asques à appareil apical inerte dans l'iode, sans boucle à la base. Excipulum à textura angularis (presque prismatica à la marge).

Latitude 44.29°, longitude 6.83°, altitude 1830 m, sur bois de mélèze. Station éloignée de mes précédents lieux de collecte, ce qui semble confirmer que cette espèce n'est pas aussi rare qu'il n'y paraît. Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage (France, 06).

Surely this is L. arida. But there is a matter with the crozieres, some collections have and others not. And nobody knows how it is in Phillips' type. :-(

From Andgelo Mombert's recent sample with croziers a sequence was gained. So it would be good to obtain one from one without croziers to compare.

Sorry for the confusing values, it is (min) average +/- stdev (max).

I wanted to get a sequence from my previous collection but I had no apothecia left unfortunately. I will get a sequence from this one. I keep you updated.
