Dasyscyphus ?
Michel RIMBAUD, 21-03-2019 11:32
Bonjour,
Merci.

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
Hair shape could recall a Hyaloscypha, but the hairs should be photographed with oil immersion.

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
Hi Zotto, thanks for your advice.
I made some other micros :
- Textura prismatica (x 600 in red Congo),
- Hairs (x 1000 in oil immersion). The longest ones are 3,4 x 64 µ, without septa, and thin walled.
I hope it is suffisant for determination ...
Michel

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
Could be Hyaloscypha aureliella. In water the hairs should have yellow or hyaline lumpy exudate around their narrower part, which dispapears in reagents.

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
I tried micros in water and oil immersion.
I did'nt succed in obtening a good image, but we gess some hyaline granules on the central goup of 3 hairs (is it this?).
In this case young Hyaloscypha aureliella would be suitable ?

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
I am sorry, it looks unfamiliar to me. For a better idea also spores in water under oil immersion would be helpful, and the ascus base for croziers.

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
Hi Zotto,
Here under some new micros mounted in water and exmined in oil immersion :
Spores : 3x8 - 2,4x8 - 2,4x8,4 - 2,8x12 - 2,8x11 µ
Asques
Paraphysis.

Re : Dasyscyphus ?
Woww! very good, the spores and their content would quite well fit H. aureliella, as do the very clear croziers, and the macro-appearance. So I only miss the resin.

Super !
Thanks a lot for guiding me to the solution.
