Reminds me a bit of an Unguiculariopsis but the hairs are missing. VBs appear to be absent, although the terminal cells of two paraphyses are dead and therefore uninformative.

Did you try KOH, perhaps a pigment is dissolved into the mediu (ionomidotic)?

Indeed, the appearance is that of Ionomidotis fulvotingens.
