Ascobolus - unfortunately without macrofotos

... the apothecia were minute, only about 1-2 mm (guessed), on dung of mouse in Germany, Northrhine-Westfalia, National Park of Eifel, on 20.09.2016.

There is no material left, and I noted the apothecia being orange in unripe condition, then becoming purple (with the ripe spores).

Can somebody say something with only this pictures (I do not have more)?

Best regards, Lothar
