I have tried to find a name for this species with long multiseptate ascospores and have failed so far. I have tried Hypocreales, Tubeufia, various Ostropales... The spores measure up to about 55 x 5 µm, the ascomata do not collapse and become translucent but don't change colour in KOH. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Merry Christmas and a happy and productive year to all!
Paul

Hi Paul,
I think your fungus is Xanthonectria pseudopeziza (Desm.) Lechat, J. Fourn. & P.-A. Moreau. I attach the PDF.
Merry Christmas
Christian
