Entoleuca or Nemania?

On decorticated wood, probably Corylus, I found erumpent stromata with a few large perithecia of about 900-1150µ.. No white tissue was present beneath the perithecia.

The ascal apparatus had the form of an inverted hat and coloured blue with IKI. Spores measured 17x6µ. No germ slit was seen.

The erumpent stromata with rather large perithecia pointed in the direction of Entoleuca but the absence of a conspicious germ slit made me think of Nemania aenea var aenea.

Re : Entoleuca or Nemania?
bonsoir Marc,

Jacques

Re : Entoleuca or Nemania?

You are right Jacques. I managed to visualize a short germ slit in front view.

Thanks
