Hello,
Found 29-07-2018, on Phragmites.
2 Species on 1 stem. Lophiostoma semiliberum and L. arundinis?
Van Ryckegem, G. (2005) Fungi on common reed (Phragmites australis), p. 341:
Lophiostoma semiliberum: "Ecology: on stems in the litter layer and on basal standing parts of dead stems. Often together with L. arundinis s.l."
https://lib.ugent.be/fulltxt/RUG01/000/888/373/RUG01-000888373_2010_0001_AC.pdf
Lophiostoma arundinis:
- Danish pyrenomycetes, p. 429: sp. 31-40 x 6-8
- Van Ryckegem, G. (2005), p. 339: ascospores 29-43 x 6-8.5 µm
- Microfungi on Land Plants, p. 511: ascospores 35-40 x 7-8.
Ascospores: 35.2-42.9 x 7.0-7.0 µm
Is this Lophiostoma arundinis?
Best wishes, Riet
