Filicupula suboperculata - Frullanicolous
Georges Greiff, 01-08-2018 14:11
Hello,

This was found on Frullania tamarisci in wet woodland in Scotland. It appears to be Filicupula suboperculata (Pezizales). Can anybody confirm?

Ascomata bright orange, hairless, <1mm dia. Asci with a single membrane, 104 x 15.6. Paraphyses dense, 2.5 wide. Ascospores 28.1 x 9.4 ave, guttules present, hyaline, smooth walled.

Thanks,

G Greiff
