Re : Peziza or something else
This is a Peziza.
It reminds me P. boudieri as figured by Boudier in his Icones, pl. 273 (under Aleuria granulosa var. boudieri) but the ascospores of your collection are too short. Peziza buxea may be more in agreement following the spore size.
The content of the paraphyse is remarkable.

Re : Peziza or something else
Hi,

this reminds me a bit of a collection from earlier this year with similar microscopic characteristics: http://www.ascofrance.com/search_forum/53658

I still don't have a name for it...

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Peziza or something else
Hi there,

i attached a picture where i think that show us a spore with 3 nucleus.

@Nicolas:
Thanks for your help :)
Am i right that Peziza buxea have a stem ?
Because my finding haven't a stem.
I think Gernots finding is the same finding as my.

@Gernot:

best regards,
Thorben

Re : Peziza or something else
Hello Thorben,

how do the spores look in IKI or Baralsche Lösung? In your first post, last photo, only one nucleus is visible, IMO. I wonder if the polar "guttules" are really nuclei, or rather some glycogen-ish inclusions ( = dextrinoid in strong iodine solution).

Re : Peziza or something else
To my knowledge, Peziza specis have only one nucleus in spores. The two polar bodies are something else.

Re : Peziza or something else
Hi there,

Since I am reassured that it is just a cell nucleus.
I attached a photo with spores in IKI.

best regards,
Thorben
