Conidiomata very big, greyish white granulose, with almost an "encoelioid" appearance.
Conidia hyaline, 12,5 x 10 µm, ovoid, smooth, born on pegs.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

are these regular fruitbodes in pic 1 and 3 really conidiomata or perhaps immature ascomata?

I was convinced they were ascomata but all had conidiophores and conidia inside - on very freshly killed, attached thin branches

what about immature anamorphs of Hypoxylon cercidicolum? Hadrotrichum pyrenaicum is the name of the anamorph, but I have no idea how it looks like microscopically ....

I know the asxual state of Hypoxylon cercidicolum well and this thing has no resemblance -alas

Would be good to make a section of these apo-like things to see how the excipulum is and the conidiophores are arranged. In the worst case it is a parasite in a disco.

I can try. The fungus was present in abundance on several branches (over a meter or so) on recently downed half dead ash.
Does anyone know an aseksuel state of Laquearia?
