White disco on beech cupule

Cet disco était sur une cupule de hêtre. Il a des spores cloisonnées. Je n'ai aucune idée de ce que c'est.
These unidentified minute white discos were on a beech cupule. They were up to 0.7 mm diameter and sessile. The spores were up to 17 um long and at least 3-septate. There seemed to be hairs which appeared also to be septate but not clearly. The asci were approx 70 in length, tips blueing in iodine. Paraphyses were hair-like.
Cordialement,
Steve Clements

Re : White disco on beech cupule
Did you find this lying in a wet place? I ask because of the conidium that might be something aquatic.
Without vital characters and excipular structure difficult to suggest a genus.

Re : White disco on beech cupule
Damp woods, lots of very rotted beech.

Perhaps a Pseudohelotium?

Too small for me to do anything except a whole ascocarp squash. Many thanks as usual Zotto!
