Malcolm GreavesI have just noticed that Scutellinia cejpii is now Microscypha cejpii on Index fungorum and so to be recorded as that on one of our national databases. When and why did this happen can anyone tell me?
Thanks

Re : Microscypha cejpii
I do not see such weird connection in Index Fungorum.
Current Name:
Microscypha cejpii (Velen.) Svr?ek, ?eská Mykol. 39(4): 207 (1985)

Synonymy:
Hyaloscypha cejpii Velen. [as 'cejpi'], Monogr. Discom. Bohem. (Prague): 277 (1934)
Psilocistella cejpii (Velen.) Svr?ek, ?eská Mykol. 32(4): 204 (1978)

I must apologise. This name mix up is on the FRDBI http://www.fieldmycology.net/GBCHKLST/gbsyns.asp?intGBNum=59835
I was sure I had followed this on to Index Fungorum and found the same name change there but it is certainly correct now so I am not sure what I was doing last night.
Again apoligies and thanks for your replies.
