Hi forum,
I need a good description of this species. Pictures of microscopical and macroscopical features would be nice.

nothing found. But some additional information: Jaffar Husain Mirza proposed in his PhD Thesis "Classification of Coprophilous Ascomycetes: The Genus Podospora", Toronto 1963 the combination to Bombardia citrina (see attachment) that never made it to the Index fungorum. Dispite he repeated that in 1968 in his paper "Studies in the Genus Bombardia", Proceedings of the Pakistan Science Conference 20 (3), 1968, on p. 6
In another collection of Cain (Mirza's teacher) in the herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden this combination is attributed to Calnegru... (attached).

This species needs to be discovered, cultured and sequenced.

Hi friends,
Thnaks to all of you.
My nice finding looks like more Camptosphaeria citrinella than Cercophora citrina. I will show photos.
Alain
Andy
I'm looking for twenty years for fungi on dung and I found more than 400 species on this very special substrate, but Camptosphaeria citrinella I didn't see anytime.
I'll add the original description by Lundqvist, as Cercophora citrinella.
And here you can find the combination to Camptosphaeria by Krug & Jeng.

Best regards, Norbert
Thank you Norbert.
Next week perhaps I will go again on the site. If I find it again, I could send a piece to you if you want.
Alain
I hope, that you will find this species again.
Thank you in advance.
Norbert
Merci,
Andy
Good news. This morning, I've found many ascomata for all !
Best wishes,
Alain
PS : Please Norbert, give me your adress postal.
Michel.
