Bonsoir à toutes et tous,J'ai reçu d'une amie ces deux photos, malheureusement sans informations microscopiques mais peut-être le bleuissement de l'apothécie vous permettra de faire une proposition.
Cet asco poussait sur débris de bois de feuillu (Castanea, Quercus ou Carpinus).
Merci d'avance si vous avez une idée !

I remember a bacterium causing such colour on a Lachnum, but my memory is quite vague.

Hello,
there was something similar in a FB group, white hairy discomycete but some apothecia colored (violet) blue. Identified by B.Wergen as infected Lachnum sp.

This is great and seems to refer to the same phenomenon. My observation is quite old and probably without photo. Peter, did you see anything under the microscope?

das hatte ich ja damals völlig vergessen: Mikroskopisch habe ich nur sich auflösende Strukturen gesehen, das Ganze aber auch nicht weiter verfolgt.

Hi there,
I was also able to find an infestation on Lachnum a few days ago and microscope it.
I don't know if it's a bacterium or a yeast fungus.
Is there perhaps more information about this infestation?

Da habe ich keine Ahnung. Aber sicher, interessant wäre es, welche Bakterien violette Farbstoffe produzieren, wenn es sie denn selbst tun.
