Ascospores on Quercus robur or Quercus rubra?
Kestutis Grigaliunas, 16-06-2017 08:17
Kestutis GrigaliunasBonjour,

Last week I took samples from dying branches of 9 years old Q. robur and Q. rubra. I am not sure from which quercus species the branch with this fungi came from (it was very rainy day and I forgot to mark them properly).
Ascus is 170 micrones in size. Fungi has Nectria like ascospores 22 micrones in size. Ascospores has 4 tendrils.
Any ideas which fungi that is?

Mersi beaucoup for Your answers and time.

Hello,

this could be Caudospora taleola.

Best wishes,
Gernot
