Hi there,
today i found in wet area, near a creek this fungus.
It grow on rotten wood (Alnus or Populus).
Maybe Orbilia rosea ?

Hi Thorben

This is interesting that such a species occurs in February. O. rosea was only found as anamorph in Feb. , but apothecia appeared twice in March.

It could also be O. sarraziniana which was seen once in March but frequently in May-Oct. But the spore orientation (upper spores upwards) argues against it. However, we are not sure, we once got a sequence of such a fungus and it belonged to O. sarraziniana.

Kannst du mir bitte die Funddaten mitteilen? Alnus ist leicht zu erkennen, Poren in radialen Reihen (Querschnitt), Gefäße mit Leiterdurchbrechnungen (Radialschnitt).
